Technical Distance Learning allows research, practical exercises, and experimentation to be accomplished using SCADA (Systems Control & Data Acquisition) and the Internet.

Our next step is to partner with a college or university at any location, throughout the entire world, that has the vision and foresight to realize the potential for practical, technical distance learning.

From a central physical laboratory (at your location) students and researchers anywhere can operate any of over 2000 trainers you choose to place in your laboratory. This system goes beyond demonstration to allow the real-time operation of complete systems using our templates and interface system. Sensors, transducers, and actuators connected to the trainer send and receive the real-time data stream from our LabVIEW templates while a web camera system gives immediate visual response. Since many production systems are operated remotely from a central control room, this technique develops more accurate operator and design skills. Students see and hear the results of their initiated commands just as they would if they were at the physical location.
